My cell phone is 413-427-2361. My home number is 786-1091. If you are not going to be at a game you need to call me before 4:00(weekdays) on the game day if not earlier, if you don't I will count that as a no call. Taking on the job, is your responsibility- not your parents, umpires should be calling me. If it is a Saturday call 1-1.5 hours before your game is required. |

If you are an umpire and are at a game that has a no show, you are welcome to work. Please call me to let me know if you can or call me that night when you get home so I know. I rather the call from the game in case I have someone scheduled to replace them. If an umpire shows up and tells you I called him, let him work. |

Also Umpires during games are required by rule 9.01 to wear protective gear, including the leg guards. In majors and AAA it is mandatory, their pitching is faster and could cause injury. Minors AA and A are not as fast but it is reccomended and is your responsibilty to make the right decision, if you are a younger/smaller umpire I would highly reccomend the required gear. |
